Scanning your documents allows you instant access to any one of thousands or even millions of pages.Our sophisticated scanning services utilize a combination of interactive and automated scanning procedures, either through our Total Records Management system or through the cloud. Imaging improves your document control during indexing, case preparation, accounting, witness depositions, settlement talks, and trial. Imaging technology also saves expensive office space required to store paper documents. This technology produces significant savings throughout the trial preparation process.

Once scanned, the images are burned to CDs, USB sticks, or uploaded online and retrieval indices are prepared either to your specifications or for use with one of the retrieval software systems that Advanced recommends. You can load the image data from media to your disk system or with the image retrieval software and pull images up on your screen. If you've also indexed your documents, you may use a linked system to pull up images as you search for particular documents using our web based inventory system.

If you use a different software package, Advanced can convert the scanned images to other formats, such as TIFF, JPG, or PDF files.

Document Retrieval Requests

Only authorized client staff may request documents, which are handled in accordance with pre-established retrieval methods. Depending upon where the specific document lies within the process, electronic images can be immediately transmitted to the requestor. The document might be scanned and transmitted or the original might be photocopied and sent back in physical form. If it’s necessary to have the document returned for scanning, we track removal and due dates along with the requestor’s information.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality of Legal Records is paramount to our operations. All Advanced Bonded employees pass background and drug tests, including temporary workers. We conform to client confidentiality agreements whatever they may be.

Bates Numbering

For our legal clients, we offer complimentary Bates numbering on any or all of your documents under our standard rate structure. The numbering system can be your own or sequentialized by us here at Advanced.
